This is not a complete tech breakdown. Far from it in fact. Many of the answers are carefully worded and don't expand massively on what was said at the reveal. Most of this is more about how the parts can work together and only quoting figures already released.

It's not doing that badly. But could be better. I don't think the console is bad technology or design wise, but it's just not enough of a difference to what's already available. It's kind of a meh product without a killer feature.

There seems to be an awful lot of Sony extremists in this comment thread. The specs of the next Xbox will be competitive. You should want them to be competitive for the good of game development and to stop complacency by any one company.
I want both machines to be monsters offering me compelling reasons to purchase both. Competition is good remember.

Oh man Forza would get my attention.
Forza 4 is a masterpiece of a racing game apart from the rip off DLC's which I had most cars in F3.
As for Kinect the head tracking feature of Forza 4 works really well if you have everything setup correctly.

After all the ps3 was only supposed to do everything in 4d at 120fps as a 2 teraflop monster the likes of which the world had never seen having been told I would get a second job just to buy it. I saw a YouTube vid of Ouya running XBMC and thought it was very impressive for such a small unit. I could see this being a media pc and running emulators etc.
